Australian Mathematics Curricula
Australia has a state-based education system with each state and territory responsible for its own curriculum and assessment. The Australian Curriculum provides a national framework that state curricula are based on, with variations to meet local needs and priorities.

The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) develops the syllabuses for NSW schools. The Higher School Certificate (HSC) is the credential awarded to secondary school students who successfully complete senior high school level studies.
